You might think that you’re listening to what someone is saying, but they might interpret your body language as not being interested.

Keep on top of your messages and be proactive. Telling someone about a new requirement for a job can be frustrating when they’re already half way through the job, but you should tell your team immediately. Don’t put off saying something important because you don’t know how the other person will react to the news.
