Obsidian's Macmillan Coffee Morning

On Wednesday 26th September we held a Macmillan Coffee Morning at Obsidian Offices Chester. This year marked the 11th year that we have held a Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.  

We would like to thank everyone who got involved in our coffee morning, from the people who donated raffle prizes, to everyone who bought coffee and cake on the day. Thanks to all the support from everyone involved we managed to raise £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support. This money can help Macmillan nurses to help patients and their families when they need it most. 

A Special thank you goes out to Codex Integrity, Quadrant Approved Inspectors, William Lea Limited, Tesco’s and many more for donating prizes to our raffle which was a huge success.

There are over 2.5 Million people living with cancer in the UK, this number will grow to 4 Million by the year 2030. Macmillan want to provide support to everyone who needs it, to help those affected by cancer to take back control of their lives. This is a big task for Macmillan and they can’t do it alone, that’s why Obsidian has shown continuous support through our annual coffee mornings and will continue to for years to come. 

Macmillan need all the help that they can get and there are many ways that you can get involved; a coffee morning, volunteering, fundraising and campaigning, even just a donation.
